Do I need to provide any supplies or equipment?
We ask that you supply the solvents and equipment. This allows us to give you the lowest rates possible. Our housekeepers will need floor cleaner, glass cleaner, ceramic oven top cleaner, toilet duck, shower cleaner, kitchen cleaner, oven cleaner, clean rags, stainless steel cleaner, as well as a vacuum, mop, bucket and squeegee. For move-in and move out services, our housekeepers can bring cleaning supplies, though higher rates will apply.
What are your working hours?
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We can arrange to send a housekeeper to you on weekends.
Do I need to be home when you clean my home?
It is not necessary that you be home during the cleaning services, though we recommend that for the first visit you be home so you can show the housekeeper around and discuss with her your exact needs.
Who will clean my home/office?
For regularly scheduled service, we always send the same housekeeper unless you request otherwise.
How do I pay for your services?
For residential cleaning, payment is made at each service. For office cleaning services, we can arrange monthly billing.
What methods of payment are accepted?
You can pay directly to the housekeeper with a cheque payable to Maidfinders. Visa and Mastercard are also accepted.
What if I need to change or cancel my cleaning appointment?
Simply call our office before 3:00 pm the day before your scheduled appointment and we will make the changes free of charge. Cancellation or date change requests after 3:00 pm the day prior will incur a 50% penalty to compensate the housekeeper.
What if I am not satisfied with your housekeeper?
For any complaints, please call us. We will investigate and make arrangements to address your concerns.
What is outside the scope of the housekeepers’ responsibility?
Generally any job that requires the housekeeper to stand on a chair or a ladder, working on balconies, (except for sweeping when the weather is warm enough), heavy lifting, medical care, child care, cooking and grocery shopping.
